Island Divvy’s is a Maui based business with a passion for disaster preparedness & community resilience.

People are resilient by nature. We just are.

When preparing for a natural disaster or any other emergency that can affect the availability of safe shelter, power, potable water, and food, we all need to consider our personal circumstances and carefully plan to cover our own most basic needs.

·         As you begin putting together your family’s disaster kit or adding to your existing stockpile of emergency supplies, make a list of personal items you and your ohana will need to cover basic human needs like toileting and bathing.

·         Plan to provide for personal hygiene & sanitation, temporary shelter, safe drinking water, non-perishable food, and first aid.

·         From the minute an emergency warning is issued until the “All Clear” is given for the local area,  access to current information that has been vetted and verified for accuracy will be key.
